A South African company, with offices in both Port Elizabeth and Cape Town, is seeking the assistance of an Accountant, to join their dynamic team to manage their ERP system, financial reports etc. This is a full time position based in Cape Town.
Responsibilities:
- Process and reconcile, Supplier invoices, Bank statements, Petty cash, Reimbursements, Company credit cards, Company fuel cards, Stock usage, Intercompany loan accounts
- Manage and perform payroll duties
- Prepare and submit company VAT & EMP201 returns
- Manage bi-annual EMP501 recons and submissions
- Manage BBBEE and EE reporting requirements
- Prepare management accounts for management
- Prepare company cash flow and P&L accounts
- Prepare year end trail balance and provision of relative information for year-end figures
- Process and archive data
- Verify internal employee hour registration
- Alert management of any deviations from allocated budgets
- Provide information and internal advise for the group regarding financial aspects
- Maintain relationship with accountants and bank
- Verify internal accounts, payroll and employee reimbursements
Requirements:
- Must have relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience as an Accountant with SAIPA accreditation
- Previous experience with Sage payroll, MS Office, Financial and ERP packages
