Social Housing Building Surveyor job, £40k + car allowance, permanent, full time

A small but successful housing association with stock across West and North Yorkshire is looking to appoint a surveyor on a permanent basis within their repairs team.
Your new role
You will be responsible for managing and delivering housing surveys in line with HHSRS regulations, such as damp and mould, as well as specifying repairs and managing their timely completion using the NAT Fed Schedule of Rates (SORs). You will ensure work orders are accurate and compliant with standards, raising them using a tablet. This role requires strong administrative and IT skills to raise work orders and maintain accurate records.
You will also be involved in liaising and managing contractors and tenant expectations to ensure repairs are carried out to the highest possible level. The ideal candidate will possess both technical expertise in property surveying and a keen understanding of customer service, ensuring the needs of tenants are met with efficiency and professionalism.
What you'll need to succeed
Extensive experience with and knowledge of HHSRS regulations and Awaab's lawStrong proficiency in NAT Fed SORs, with the ability to raise accurate work orders and quotes based on survey findings.Exceptional administrative skills, including the ability to keep detailed and accurate records, managing high volumes of dataYou must have a full UK driving licence and use of your own vehicle for this role. Must be happy to travel across West and North Yorkshire.
