As an HR Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting operational objectives by providing HR guidance to line managers and employees, ensuring the effective delivery of HR services.
Key responsibilities include managing the full recruitment lifecycle, handling labour relations, and driving organisational capability-building initiatives. You will be instrumental in promoting a positive work environment by facilitating conflict resolution, advising on compliance matters, and contributing to performance management and succession planning. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
To qualify, candidates should hold a Bachelor's Degree or Higher Diploma in HR Management or Industrial Psychology and have at least 5 years of HR generalist experience, preferably in a unionised environment. Xhosa fluency is also a must so you must be able to read, write and speak the language.
