A Slurry Pump specialist, based in Centurion, is seeking an Area Sales Manager to join their team. The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and driving sales operations within a designated geographic region. This role involves leading and motivating sales teams to meet and exceed sales targets and revenue objectives. The Area Sales Manager will also analyse market trends, develop effective sales strategies, and identify new opportunities for business expansion. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and distributors is crucial, as well as monitoring sales performance and providing regular reports and insights to senior management.
Education:
- BEng Mechanical
- BSc/BA Business Administration
Job Experience & Skills Required: - 3 years' experience in sales
- Build and nurture trust-based relationships with a portfolio of major clients to ensure their continued loyalty and prevent them from seeking alternatives
- Gain a deep understanding of key customer needs and requirements
- Strengthen relationships with existing clients by consistently offering solutions that align with their objectives
- Ensure the timely delivery of correct products and services to customers
- Act as the primary communication link between key customers and internal teams
- Address and resolve any customer issues or complaints promptly to maintain trust
- Contribute significantly to generating new sales that will lead to long-term client relationships
