RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Industrial Engineer specializing in the plastics manufacturing industry to join a dynamic team. In this critical role, you will focus on optimizing processes, enhancing efficiency, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to meet the ever-evolving demands of the plastics sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead projects aimed at improving manufacturing processes in the plastics industry.
- Analyze workflows, production schedules, and resource allocation to identify areas for efficiency gains.
- Implement Lean manufacturing techniques and Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste and improve quality.
- Design and develop process improvement plans that align with business goals.
- Oversee the training and development of engineering staff on best practices and process standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of process improvements.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate efficiency and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Research and assess new technologies and processes to stay ahead in the market.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in industrial engineering within the plastics manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience with process improvement methodologies, including Lean and Six Sigma.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional leadership and project management abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in CAD software and MS Office Suite.
