Hire Resolve's client is currently seeking a Site Agent specializing in Roads and Earthworks to join their team in Johannesburg, GP. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to manage projects and ensure their successful completion.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the full scope of roads and earthworks projects from inception to completion
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and plans
- Conduct site inspections and monitor work progress, safety, and compliance with regulations
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders to coordinate project activities
- Manage site staff and resources effectively to achieve project objectives
- Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation and reports
- Identify and resolve any issues or disputes that arise during construction
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Site Agent in Roads and Earthworks
- SACPCMP registration is essential
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites
