Hire Resolve's client is actively seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Manager to join their mining company based in Gauteng. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to lead and oversee electrical engineering operations within the mining sector, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and safety in all electrical systems and processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the electrical engineering team, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure high performance and professional development.
- Develop and implement electrical engineering strategies, policies, and best practices to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Oversee the design and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment used in mining operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards within all electrical engineering activities.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to meet operational goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize electrical systems and processes.
- Provide technical expertise and support for troubleshooting and problem resolution.
- Prepare and present reports on electrical engineering performance and improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- GCC Mines&Works (Electrical)
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 10 years' post GCC experience.
- 10 years' heavy electrical experience within the mining industry.
- Project Management experience.
- Professional registration as a Pr. Eng or Pr. Tech Eng preferred.
