Hire Resolve is seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our client's team, a leading company in the plastic fabrication industry. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for operating and maintaining Krauss Maffei machines, ensuring efficient and high-quality production. If you have experience with injection molding or similar plastic manufacturing processes and are looking to grow in a dynamic environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
Responsibilities
- Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent production quality and safety.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to keep the machine running efficiently and minimize downtime.
- Possess a deep understanding of the different machine parts and provide support to expert technicians during troubleshooting.
- Work to meet and exceed the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) targets.
- Efficiently operate and maintain the machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Focus on achieving the highest standards of quality in all produced items.
- Set up and continuously monitor the Krauss Maffei machine to ensure smooth operation during production.
Requirements
- Diploma in electrical or mechanical studies
- Matric – Grade 12
- Basic applied knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical and/or electronic systems
- Strong applied knowledge of measuring instruments and techniques
- Good knowledge of plastic moulding technologies (EBM, SBM, and/or IM)
- Experience working on Krauss Maffei machine is essential
- 2-3 years’ experience in a plastics manufacturing environment
