JOB PURPOSE
To provide cleaning and sanitization to pool areas assigned and facilities assisting Guests, the pool attendant will also provide safety surveillance to the pool area.
KEY RESPOSIBILITES
- To position, clean and re-store deck chairs and sun beds and cleanliness to all loose furniture and fittings
- To offer and provide service, assistance or information to guests on deck
- To assist wherever necessary access to open deck areas for guests with disabilities (wheelchairs etc)
- Delivery of food from the buffet for disabled passengers to their deck chairs
- Understand the use and storage of cleaning equipment and chemicals
- To participate and assist in other housekeeping areas (cleaning, luggage handling, sanitation)
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school graduate
- No tattoos on any exposed part of body when wearing uniform
- Proven understanding of Company sanitation procedures.
- Documented 1 years experience in a similar position on board a Cruise vessel or in a similar resort or hotel
- Essential language and level – English
