The Role
Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Participate in day-to-day operational activities in the admin, finance, and hotel departments.
- Provide support to the Head of Finance and the team in all accounting practices.
- Handle a variety of financial tasks, ensuring the trial balance is ready and reconciled for financial reporting.
- Prepare accurate monthly reports, perform monthly reconciliations, and track transactions.
- Assist the Head of Finance with the preparation of financial statements.
- Maintain the asset register.
- Fulfill general administrative duties as requested by management and other departments.

Ideal Profile
Requirements:
- Education : Accounting and Finance degree or diploma. Completion of SAIPA articles.
- Experience : Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience
- Software Proficiency : Proficient user of financial software, including MS Office, Xero, Dext, and relevant Hospitality software (such as Semper). All of your software should be listed in your CV.
- Legal Knowledge : Firm understanding of SARS legislation and statutory submissions.
- Skills and Traits:

- Effective communication abilities
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Transparency and accuracy when recording/capturing information
- Transportation: Must have own reliable transport to and from the workplace in Durbanville.
- Notice Period : Able to start ASAP, role is urgent and need someone who can negotiate their notice period
