Job Summary
As a Pet Transport Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, coordinating pet transportation, and ensuring a smooth and efficient process from initial quote to final delivery. You will play a crucial role in delivering a positive experience for our customers and their beloved pets.
Responsibilities
Quoting and Pricing: Respond promptly to customer inquiries and requests for pet transport quotes. Gather necessary information from customers to provide accurate and competitive quotes. Utilize pricing tools and databases to determine appropriate pricing for pet transport services. Ensure quotes are communicated clearly and effectively to customers. Quote Follow-Up: Proactively follow up with customers to answer questions, address concerns, and provide additional information as needed in order to secure the business. Maintain a systematic follow-up process to ensure timely responses and increase customer satisfaction. Collaborate with internal teams to address any pricing or logistical challenges and find suitable solutions. Job Coordination: Oversee and coordinate the entire pet transportation process, from scheduling to final delivery. Liaise with customers, transport providers, and other relevant parties to gather all necessary information and documentation. Monitor and track pet transport shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any potential issues. Provide regular updates to customers regarding the status and progress of their pet's transportation. Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service by providing accurate information, resolving complaints, and addressing customer concerns. Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, agents, transport providers, and internal teams. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the entire pet transport process. Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, quotes, and transport details in our internal systems. Generate and process necessary paperwork, including contracts, invoices, and shipping documents. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to pet transport.
Skills
Previous experience in a customer service or coordination role, preferably in a transportation or logistics-related field. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong attention to detail. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Proficient in using computer systems and software, including CRM tools and Microsoft Office suite. Knowledge of pet transport regulations and procedures is a plus. Passion for animals and understanding of their unique transportation needs. Familiarity with IPATA and experience in expanding network locations would be advantageous. Apply Now
