Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the maintenance activities within the manufacturing department.
- Conduct root cause analysis to address equipment issues and implement effective solutions.
- Design and develop maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods to optimize operations.
- Ensure that all machinery and equipment are continuously monitored and maintained to prevent breakdowns.
- Administer and control the department's maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Respond to equipment faults and perform routine scheduled maintenance.
- Diagnose and resolve breakdown problems efficiently.
- Oversee the installation of new parts, ensuring equipment operates correctly.
- Conduct quality inspections on completed maintenance tasks.
- Maintain and manage maintenance tools, stores, and equipment.
- Comply with the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Act within the department.
- Execute ad hoc tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the manager.
- Maximize plant availability and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise in the implementation and management of maintenance systems.
- At least 3–5 years of experience working in a fast-paced FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) environment.
- Proficiency in PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems, AC inverters, and servomotor systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong self-motivation and discipline in executing tasks.
- Willingness to work overtime when necessary.
