The purpose of this role is to manage the Branch to achieve business objectives in accordance with the Region and Retail Operations Strategy.

You Bring:
- 1 year in a management capacity or managerial experience.
Advantageous:
- Valid driver’s licence.
- 1-year sales management experience.
- 1-year cash management experience.
- 1-year experience within the gaming or betting industry.
What You’ll Do For The Brand:
Branch Growth:
- Manage the achievement of targets and branch growth in accordance with operational procedures.
Branch Administration and Cost Management:
- Manage branch cost and budget to ensure maximum profitability. Manage monthly expenses and cash management within the branch according to defined processes/procedures. Ensure daily banking schedules are submitted to the Area Manager. Ensure adherence to credit card administration & EFT policies where applicable. Senior Team Leaders must notify the Branch, Regional Manager, and Cash Management Department of shortages. Manage recovery processes in line with procedures. Manage branch stock control to ensure sufficient supply and conduct weekly stock takes to account for shortages. Manage all security aspects in the branch.
Branch Appearance:
- Ensure that the branch is always neat and tidy according to Hollywood standards. Ensure that the facilities are well maintained and in working condition.
Branch Reporting:
- Ensure that daily newsflashes provide a high-level overview of operations. Ensure weekly/monthly reporting on branch performance based on stakes, number of bets, budget, costs, growth plans, and high risk/compliance issues.
Customer Experience:
- Ensure superior customer service and experience. Proactively address customer complaints and ensure positive feedback. Build strong relationships with regular customers. Create a customer-centric culture within the branch and drive the philosophy of “service with a smile” at all times.
Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with company, legislative, and legal requirements, specifically with Gambling Board requirements. Adhere to internal control policies and escalate fraudulent activities. Ensure a registered FICA officer is on-site during operating hours and compliance posters are displayed.
Communication:
- Manage communication within the branch to ensure that all information is disseminated to team members regarding key business campaigns and updates. Ensure correct lines of communication are followed and timely feedback is provided to the support office.
People Management:
- Manage team member rosters/schedules and ensure adequate staffing. Monitor staff attendance and behaviour in line with the Area Manager's directives. Identify training and development areas and address interventions with the Area Manager. Ensure timely submission of new take-on documentation to Human Resources.
Values:
- Actively promote the Hollywood values. Lead by example to the team.
- If the branch has LPMs, manage them accordingly.
- Maintain close working relationships with F&B facilities, support office teams, and training facilities. Ensure proper maintenance of the entire building/branch.
- Work closely with the Regional Manager/Area Manager to suggest areas of improvement for attracting and retaining punters.
- Ensure timely submission of daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Senior Team Leaders are key holders in the branch.
- Must be available 24/7 in case of emergencies.
