Roles and Responsibilities:
This position has a strong interface with the Finance division. A background in bookkeeping is required for efficiency in this role.
Administer and oversee the daily operational aspects of new and ongoing projects:
- Maintaining and monitor project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets and expenditures;
- Document and monitor that decisions taken during meetings are actioned;
- Facilitate project procurement management;
- Ensure project deadlines are met;
- Draft slides, meeting notes and documents for executives as required;
- Coordinate and schedule calendar appointments;
- Manage all incoming and outgoing communications related to projects and work being conducted;
- Create and maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports;
- Create and issue purchase orders;
- Maintain customer database by inputting customer profile and updates; preparing and distributing monthly reports;
- Prepares progress presentations by compiling data; developing presentation formats and materials;
Reporting and finance responsibilities:
- Invoicing of cash deals (Pastel);
- QC invoicing and related reports (Pastel);
- Intercompany recharges;
- Commission reports;
- Stock reports;
- Project reports;

Education
- Grade 12.
- Diploma in project management would be an advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years working within a projects’ administration environment.
- Experience with basic bookkeeping specifically using Pastel Accounting.
- Civil works or solar background would be a definite advantage
