We are currently looking for a strong, hands-on Project Manager who will be based in Parow, however, the role does require traveling regularly between regions. The main purpose of this role is to oversee the daily workings of the organisation's operations, maintaining a high-quality standard of the organisation's deliverables in line with site-specific SLAs. The Project Manager will manage client relations, perform cleaning and equipment inspections, support and develop site management, ensure sites are managed according to budgeted costings and growth targets, and ensure all healthcare standards are adhered to in line with Infection Control practices.

Duties & Responsibilities
Operations and Service Delivery:
- Act with utmost urgency when attending to any client request.
- Best allocation of resources of the contract to achieve maximum cleaning output.
- Adhere to resource requirements as stipulated by the SLA.
- Manage output-based contracts efficiently.
- Proactively manage a pool of trained relief staff members to prevent any service delivery disruptions.
- Ensure work schedules/job cards are in place for each position and relevant to the site.
- Maintain consistently high service standards through regular site visits and inspections.
- Ensure adherence to biometric system requirements by all unit staff.
- Approve salaries for units and monitor labour/turnover ratios per contract.
- Ensure Contract Managers and Supervisors abide by the company disciplinary code.
- Adhere to recruitment policies, procedures, and deadlines.
Communication:
- Conduct regular client meetings, including at least one formal documented meeting per month.
- Respond to client and management requests in a timely manner.
- Ensure monthly completion of reports as required by clients.
- Keep line management informed of pertinent issues relating to contracts.
Health and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with OHS Act requirements for site-specific needs.
Unit Finances:
- Ensure each unit operates within budgetary guidelines.
- Utilize only accredited suppliers and approved products.
- Compile accurate budgets and forecasts in line with company deadlines.
- Analyze monthly financial results to identify and address problematic areas.
General:
- Stay informed about current trends and innovations in the industry.
- Maintain high morale and motivation through effective communication.
- Attend meetings, training sessions, and conferences as required.
- Ensure the company’s objectives are achieved.
- Implement and manage initiatives set by clients and/or Tsebo Management.
Skills and Competencies
- Understanding of cleaning principles and company policies.
- Knowledge of Infection Control and Safety regulations in healthcare environments.
- Ability to schedule staffing and assign cleaning tasks effectively.
- Proven financial management skills.
- Strong people skills and knowledge of industrial relations.
- Excellent communication and written skills.
- Good problem-solving and customer service skills.
Qualifications
- Minimum Matric.
- Relevant tertiary business qualification.
- 5 - 10 years of Project Management experience.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar middle management role.
- Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in managing large teams and a significant client portfolio.
- Knowledge of the Cleaning/Hygiene industry.
- Budget and payroll experience.
- Experience with HR/IR issues and procedures.
- Computer literacy is essential.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Highly organized and a transformative leader.
- Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle required.
- Ability to travel between provinces occasionally.
