*Will not be doing QS work but will be managing the professional team on a project and will be doing QS reviews (Payment Certificates, Invoices, Report Reviews, etc.).
ROLE DECRIPTION:
Responsible for the managing, delivering, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of the government programme.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
• Degree in Quantity Surveying and PrQS professional registration.
KEY AREAS OF COMPETENCE REQUIRED:
• Knowledge of CIDB, PROCSA, Fee Scales, consultant’s appointments.
• Problem Solving by analysing and process information, asking probing questions.
• Being meticulous, conscientious, and thorough.
• Following Procedures, Protocols, and Instructions.
• Behaving ethically and justly.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• Experience in professional consulting QS firms.
• Experience in contracts (JBCC and NEC) administration and financial administration.
• Experience in Project/Programme Management is a bonus.
TASK DESCRIPTION:
• Managing the projects allocated, Drafting, and reviewing of cashflow and programme.
• Liaising with QS Department, meeting the deadlines, drive programme and cashflow for the Management Programme.
• Managing the Management P Checking invoices
• Programme’s cashflow and Managing procurement.
• Managing consultant’s and contractor’s appointments and performance.
• Complying with all processes and protocols.
• Management of Contracts, including JBCC and NEC.
• Professional reviews on Stage QS Reports.
• Reviews of Final Accounts, Tender Documents, contractor’s invoice packs, Payment Certificates, and any other required documentation.
• Reviews of invoices, appointments, additional fees, and any other related matters.
• Making sure Auditor General audits are successfully completed.
