Responsibilities:
- Manage inventory management (physical adjustments, credits, inter-store transfers, returns to suppliers, stock issuing, stock levels).
- Prepare and manage month-end and opening procedures.
- Supervise the day-to-day operations.
- Compile monthly management reports by the 5th of each month.
- Consult with auditors (external and internal) about queries to ensure no re-reporting of audits.
- Lead monthly meetings with staff to provide feedback and address departmental concerns, ensuring staff are kept up to date with changes in the institution.
- Aid and ensure that all staff are trained.
- Conduct formal performance reviews with all staff and agree on a developmental plan.
- Take personal responsibility for correcting problems: respond to customer inquiries, requests, and complaints within 48 hours.
- Maintain clear and timely communication of any changes that might take effect.
- Always display a positive and professional image and attitude to the staff, maintaining composure in demanding situations.
- Create a supportive work environment.
- Ensure ethical compliance.
- Enforce policy and SOP compliance.
- Must be able to work under pressure.
