About us:
The Enterprise Applications and Solutions Integration (EASI) department within the Chief Information Officer’s (CIO) Division is responsible for the development, maintenance, and effectiveness of core administrative management and student systems at the U of T, including all central SAP systems, the central U of T Student System (ROSI), and various related applications.
Your opportunity:
The Digital Workplace team provides efficient support for standard technology requirements, including machine installation, configuration, software licensing, and business solution implementation. The incumbent provides end user technical support by responding to service requests, resolving issues, and providing orientation on work procedures.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Responding to end-user service requests
- Probing for information to identify problems and establish needs
- Following up with end-users on technical issues
- Providing explanations on computing procedures
- Serving as a technical resource on hardware and software related issues
- Keeping informed on current technologies and best practices
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Minimum two years front-line customer support for hardware and software
- Hands-on experience supporting Windows 10/11, InTune, OS X, iOS, Android, and Microsoft Office
- Minimum two years troubleshooting virtual meeting platforms such as MS Teams and Zoom
- Experience meeting enterprise service level agreements in a client-facing support role
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and customer service
