Assistant Food & Beverage Manager – Cape Town
A well-established 4-star hotel in Cape Town is looking for a passionate Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to assist in managing the F&B operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in both restaurant and event management, along with a strong focus on guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the F&B Manager in overseeing daily F&B operations, including the restaurant, bar, and events.
- Supervise and coordinate staff schedules to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
- Manage inventory and stock control, ensuring all outlets are adequately supplied.
- Support the planning and execution of events and functions, ensuring seamless coordination.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and address feedback promptly.
- Implement health and safety regulations across all F&B outlets.
- Assist with training and development of F&B staff to maintain service excellence.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and events teams to maintain smooth operations.
- Prepare and review financial reports, ensuring costs are controlled and revenue targets are achieved.
Requirements:
- SA citizen.
- Recent experience in F&B management in a 4/5* hotel.
- Strong understanding of restaurant and event operations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Knowledge of stock control, budgeting, and cost management.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
