A cutting-edge technology company currently undertaking a digital transformation are looking for talented Principal Engineering Lead tasked with reviewing the way of work within the companys Engineering teams, maintaining a tight partnership between Architecture and Engineering is a crucial part of this role, by embracing the goals of their elastic enterprise.
Qualification:
- Co-develop the Technical Strategy alongside the Head of Technology and drive the successfully execution of this strategy within the engineering teams.
- Establish incremental steps to progress the organization towards desired architectural state, allowing for temporary concessions to maintain momentum and ensure ongoing advancement.
- Work closely with the Project Management Office to ensure successful and timeous delivery of technology driven projects.
- Act as an ambassador and its culture by leading the engineering teams in a humble respectful manner, fostering a positive constructive working environment where we have fun while working hard, encouraging innovation.
- Knowing both the Business and Technical goals define a roadmap that is achievable and realizes both
- Successfully transform into an elastic computing world working closing with the Head of IT to achieve this in a secure and cost-effective manner.
- Identify, compare, select and implement technology solutions to meet current and future needs
- Oversee the management of designing/development and coding of new and current business systems as required
- Manage the enforcement of technology standards and practices especially focusing on the SDLC that includes the Architectural and Information Security goals
- Consolidate technology platforms in a way that aligns with Business Service teams and strategies.
- Optimize the use of technology products by aligning with the greater Group, embracing the Group Tech Radar and Tech Adoption process looking for opportunities of re-use or collaboration.
Skills & Experience:

- At least 7 10 years technical experience
- Proven Leadership experience in managing multiple teams.
- Knowledge of Technology Trends to build a successful strategy
- Proven Solutions Focused approach able to turn problems into opportunities
- Excellent communication skills and able to present confidently to large audiences
- Proven experience in Stakeholder management and ability to nurture positive collaborative relationships
