When you join KHIPU as a Network Support Engineer, you are right at the beginning of an exciting career in one of the fastest growing technology sectors. The successful applicant will be part of an international team of engineers supporting KHIPU customers around the world 24x7x365. Once trained, the post holder will be required to work a shift pattern which will include some night and weekend shifts but with plenty of rest days in between!
Responsibilities
- Provide quality customer service, both verbal and written.
- Investigate and perform basic analysis of monitoring alerts.
- Perform basic upgrades, administration, and configuration tasks.
- Maintain support cases so that all stakeholders are kept up to date.
- Become proficient in the technologies you are assigned.
- Become an effective team member in a constantly shifting industry landscape.
- Be accountable and responsible for your actions and career path.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- High School Education Certificate or similar.
- Desirable: Formal technical training.
Preferred Skills
- A keen interest in Information Technology, especially networking and cyber security.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Excellent telephone manner.
- Good understanding of MS Office or similar technology.
- Critical thinking and growth mindset.
