Our Douglas-based Client is a leading Trust & Corporate Service Provider. As they continue their organic growth, they are seeking a Senior Tax Manager to join an established team.
As Senior Tax Manager you will be dealing with tax compliance including all regulatory reporting and providing guidance relating to UK, IoM, Irish and BVI tax matters. Specific duties will include:
- UK IHT implications guidance to clients and Trustees
- De-enveloping, liquidations and restructuring tax guidance
- ATED returns
- UK Corporation tax returns and liaison with HMRC
- IOM Corporation tax returns and liaison with Income Tax
- Economic substance returns-BVI
- New business, Trigger events TECF preparation
- CRS and FATCA reporting
- CRS classification forms for opening accounts with financial institutions or to update details guidance.
- Loan charge- appeals
- VAT Compliance overview (advantageous)
- Financial statements reviews (advantageous)
- Leading, Managing and developing tax and accounting team
The ideal candidate for the role of Senior Tax Manager will have experience working in a TCSP / CSP environment, holding or are working towards an industry recognised professional tax qualification.
VAT experience would be beneficial.
