Requirements
- A relevant professional qualification (B degree/First degree)
- At least 5-8 years relevant experience
- A proven track record of Managerial experience
- A proven track record of experience in applying OD tools to actively support navigating change, building and cultivating a positive and inclusive work culture, and mobilising employee engagement strategies
- A proven track record of aligning employees to the broader strategic objectives of the department through embedding company values to shape employees and leadership behaviour
- Public Services Sector experience will be an advantage
- A valid driver’s licence
Key Performance Areas
- Driving change management interventions for the department and monitoring change impact
- Establishing and maintaining communication platforms between employees and leadership as it relates to change management, employee engagement, and organisational culture transformation
- Supporting and enabling leadership effectiveness, and conceptualising, customising, and implementing leadership engagement strategies
- Aligning organisational culture to City Values and conducting culture assessments, diagnoses, and drives
- Embedding recognition and reward as a strategy to drive for high performance culture
- Proactively supporting employee wellness
- Building and maintaining effective and constructive relations between internal stakeholders
- Researching and developing best practice organisational behaviour and employee/leadership engagement programs
- Monitoring and reporting on organisational development processes and programs
- Managing outcomes associated with the utilization, empowerment, productivity, and performance of personnel
