Note: this position is that of a duty manager level, only focused on the housekeeping department.
Candidate requirements:
- Must have a minimum of 2 -3 years of Housekeeping Management experience in a 5-star boutique operation or Big 5 reserve
- Must have working experience in Budgets & Stock Control
- Room Division or Front of House Experience - a plus
- Hospitality and Service training experience - a plus
- Must have Excellent literacy skills (writing of emails, viewing web pages)
- Must be computer literate
- Must be fluent in English (both written and spoken)
- Own transport and a drivers license are essential
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills (listening skills, verbal communication, etc)
- Must have a positive attitude, be self-motivated and confident
- Must have a sense of humor and of adventure
- Have strong people skills
- Have a strong guest focus to ensure guest expectations are exceeded
- Have Flexibility adapt successfully to changing situations and environments
- Must have high attention to detail
