Manage stock holding and buy out parts for the service, repairs and maintenance of the fleet.
REQUIREMENTS Grade 12
2 to 3 Management experience within the forklift industry
DUTIES - Manage stockholding and stock movement
- Obtain and hold 100% first pick on service parts
- Bin management (sequential)
- Manage returns (supplier and workshop)
- Manage damages and variances
- Coordinate two stock takes annually
- Variance investigation and approval
- Update daily cycle counts and annual stock takes
- Analyze Embrace reports and action
- Ensure all Standard Operating Procedures are adhered to
- Maintain and update job descriptions and Standard Operating Procedures
- Manage and avoid dead stock
- Managing suppliers and pricing
- Manage and grow external sales
- Manage asset register
- Risk and control self assessments
- Manage working hours, overtime and attendance registers
- Manage recruitment and training for department
- Maintain professional conduct
- Assist in relevant operations/operational functions as required
- Ensure dress code is in accordance with company Standard Operating Procedures
- Maintain housekeeping standards on a daily basis
- Ensure standards of Health and Safety are maintained
