Supervising commercial operations for the Power Conversion and Expert Services Business Applications in Africa. Develop sales in the various channels throughout the region. Commercial sales management.
Responsibilities:
Market Intelligence:
- Monitor and anticipate market driver.
- Assesses the size of the market, market shares and potential business development on the National/Regional market (South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya).
- Implement and deploy adaptable Sales Strategy.
- Monitor potential acquisitions and due diligence.
Sales and Marketing: - Deploy the Commercial Action Plan (targets & actions). Participates to the elaboration of the Budget.
- Performs customers visits (existing customers and prospection visits). Manages a proper and professional customer relationship. Scout for new distributor and develop the existing ones.
- Organize and coordinate prescription and specification activity in the territory.
- Ensures a good level of external and internal communication
Management:
- Ensure operational implementation of the corporate strategy.
- Legal representative of the company.
- Manage all operational, support function and the team. Set up the collective and individual objectives, follow up and support the daily operations, define and follow-up the individual development, develop team spirit and more generally the companys values within the team.
- Monitor KPIs and reporting.
Essential Requirement:
- Technical degree in electrical engineering with at least 10 years sales experience, preferably in a multinational context, at ease in a multicultural and transversal environment.
- Further studies, obtaining an MBA will be beneficial.
- Previous experience in team management.
- Travel frequently within Africa and his territory (South Africa, Kenya, Nigeria) as well as travelling for training.
- Looking for a diverse individual who is comfortable conversing with a multitude of different cultures and countries.
- Must be able to speak French and English. Afrikaans will be beneficial.
