IT Operation Manager
Basic Function
•Efficiently manage day-to-day IT operational activities to ensure seamless functioning.
•Ensure operational stability by adhering to established tools, policies, and processes.
•Demonstrate a strong understanding of running large-scale Wintel operations.
•Must have a good understanding of AWS or Azure Cloud Infra, Server and Storage Technologies.
•Work seamlessly within the IT Service Management (ITSM) framework.
•Exhibit a good understanding and experience working with networking components such as DNS, DHCP, HTTP, IP addresses, LAN/WAN technology, TCP/IP, switches, routers, and firewalls.
•Ensure compliance with technology controls, including but not limited to patching, antivirus (AV), Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT), etc.
•Working with virtualization technologies to achieve effective server management for the business.
•Interacting with team members and participating in periodic project progress reviews
Good understanding of Wintel Technologies like Active Directory, Unified Messaging and Collaboration – Office 365, Windows Group Policies, Clusters, Antivirus, Proxies, SCOM, SCCM, etc.
• Ability to operate at all levels within the organization and cross functionally within multiple Client organizations.
Essential Functions (Operational)
•Manage 24X7 BAU Operations effectively.
•Should have managed a large scale Wintel Operations for Servers and Storage.
•Should be able to manage a team of Technical SMEs and provide the required guidance as and when required.
•Acts as the primary point of contact between TIS and Other Functions
•Providing 24x7 operational supports for Wintel Operations
•Partner and Supplier Governance - Software, Hardware Vendor / OEM Coordination and escalation.

•Sr Manager/Manager – Technology Operations.
•Service Delivery Managers.
•Service Desk Lead/Manager.
•Compliance and Information Security Team.
•Business & IT Management Team.
Education Requirements
•Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/Information technology (or equivalent relevant experience)
•Sound interpersonal skills and collaborative approach with the ability to interact and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
•Good influencing skills
•Solid organizational, time management and prioritization skills
•ITIL Foundation (minimum)
