Purpose: The main purpose of this role is to work in close collaboration with various departments across the business to instil a controlled environment with a high level of financial awareness.
Requirements: - Relevant completed degree
- Min 2 years post qualification working experience in general accounting
- Experience within a manufacturing environment recommended
- Computer literacy
Duties include: - Regular reporting and follow-up of financial health checks across the business
- Provide hands-on assistance to internal departments to resolve any queries
- Direct involvement in stock take variance reporting and investigations / non-compliance monitoring
- Highlighting of stock damages / anomalies to relevant parties
- Assist with month end and year end closings
- Assist with the annual audit as well as the BEE audit process
- Fixed Asset commissioning, CAPEX reporting against budget
- Routine monthly reporting as well as ad-hoc reporting requests
- Primary contact for collation of insurance related support and submitting of claims
