Your Role: Are you a talented and detail-oriented Technical Draughtsman with a passion for design? Weâre looking for someone with experience in Autodesk Plant 3D or similar 3D modelling software to join our innovative team! You will be responsible for creating intricate 3D models and technical drawings for mechanical piping and equipment in process plants, working hand-in-hand with engineers and multidisciplinary teams on diverse projects.
Key Responsibilities: - Craft detailed 3D models and technical drawings for piping, storage vessels, pressure vessels, and more.
- Produce precise piping isometric drawings and material take-off documentation.
- Develop 3D concepts for detailed design phases and review process plant layouts.
- Interpret process and instrumentation diagrams with accuracy.
- Ensure seamless design integration across various disciplines.
- Collaborate closely with engineers to meet project specifications and standards.
- Maintain and update technical documentation and drawings as needed.
- Keep drawing libraries up to date while adhering to industry standards.
What Weâre Looking For: Essential Qualifications & Experience: - Diploma in Draughting or equivalent qualification.
- At least 3 years of experience as a draughtsman, proficient in Autodesk Plant 3D, Autodesk, Naviswork or similar software.
- Familiarity with process plant design and mechanical equipment.
- Knowledge of industry standards and design codes (ASME, SANS, EN) is a bonus!
