JOB SCOPE & RESPONSIBILITIES - Work alongside the Chief Marketing Officer and Brand Manager to develop the SunBet Brand and CI guidelines aligned to the overall Brand strategy.

- Direct and lead Sunbets creative team in developing and delivering creative artwork and providing innovative solutions for the delivery of marketing objectives.
- Manage creative processes from conceptualization to production.
- Manage investigations and analyses into potential graphic and animation graphic innovations to grow the business delivery and streamline processes.
- Lead brainstorming sessions and creation of concepts by being an ideas bank of new innovation and concepts to be used as a foundation for content for various online channels in line with business requirements.
- Lead design teams in the development of concepts and execution of all projects to create exceptional visual style & tone for a range of projects.
- Collaborate on UX and wireframe executions with other members of the team to provide insight into how the project will work.
- Oversee the development of plans for generating meaningful content to drive increased traffic, engagement and brand visibility.
- Conceptualise, plan and ensure synergies are created between design content for various projects.
- Lead the vision and oversee the development, creation and deployment of designs for multiple projects; including the implementation of design plans through editorial calendars across all relevant marketing channels and platforms.
- Work closely with creatives and developers to ensure the solidity of designs and highest level of quality is maintained at all times.
- Translate complex ideas into beautiful visual executions that make them easier to understand.
- Introduce graphic and animation tools, and access to relevant content that enables a series of creative opportunities for marketing services.
- Influences present and future products, services, platforms and content management by determining and evaluating current and future market trends.
- Measure the success of campaigns and platforms through analytics and provide reports and insights in this regard.
- Actively lead/participate in every aspect of creative design and development: Copywriting, Graphic design, Web and email design, Layout.
- Commission, edit and proofread content as required ensuring it meets style, tone and marketing message requirements, as well as reflecting the Companys brand
- Attends occasional events to support real-time and wrap-up coverage.
- Present creative ideas/concepts to clients in a compelling and clear manner.
- Develop and manage the creative services budget, forecasting and ROI for the company.
- Estimate, process and approve creative development costs.
- Approve selection of subcontract resources and negotiate terms when required.
- Clearly define and delegate plans, authority and accountability across the team.
- Provide inspirational leadership to enhance employee engagement and motivation and nurture a performance driven culture within the companys creative agency.
- Team leadership and management; ensuring all relevant employees understand relevant standards, regulations and expectations.
- Drive a culture of quality standards, ethics and governance and ensure all staff are competent to deliver against those standards.
- Influences present and future products, services, platforms and content management by determining and evaluating current and future market trends.
- Keep up to date with current and future design methodologies and marketing strategies in the business, creative and animation design environments.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE: Qualification: - 3-Year Degree in Marketing / Communications / Graphic Design
Experience: - 10 years experience following a path through the ranks of the industry from designer / copywriter through to management levels, including experience as a creative director or in a similar creative role.
- Experience should include 5 years working within an editorial role and 2 years in a supervisory / management capacity.
- Hand-on experience in creative process, marketing, graphic design and brand development.
- A proven track record of managing successful creative design and multi-discipline teams.
Work conditions and special requirements: - Travel may be required in line with operational requirements.
- May be required to work overtime in line with operational requirements (this may include weekends, public holidays)
