Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Engineering Salesperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of CNC machines, the ability to read CAD drawings, and a solid foundation in general engineering principles. The primary responsibility will be to market our services to target industries and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to promote our CNC precision engineering services.
- Identify and target potential clients in the wine, packaging, dairy, chemical, and automotive industries.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining our products and services to prospective customers.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure a clear understanding of client requirements and deliver customized solutions.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Provide excellent customer service and support throughout the sales process and after-sales.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably within the engineering or manufacturing sector.
- In-depth knowledge of CNC machines and their applications.
- Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings and blueprints.
- Strong understanding of general engineering principles and processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a track record of meeting sales targets.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and MS Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license and own vehicle plus willingness to travel as needed.
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience in the wine, packaging, dairy, chemical, or automotive industries.
- Technical background or engineering degree.
