Scheme Manager - 18.5 hours per week - Ongoing temp
We're looking to recuit a part-time temporary Scheme Manager to support our client in providing housing management at one of their Independent Living Schemes in Ormskirk where you'll be working 18.5 hours per week across 3 days.
Your new role
- Daily wellbeing/welfare checks to vulnerable residents
- Carry out viewings, sign-ups and inductions with new residents
- Review and update risk assessments
- Advice on low level rent arrears, liaising with Income team and assisting with completion of welfare benefit applications
- Carry out routine health & safety inspections including testing fire safety equipment & weekly fire alarm tests
- Assist residents with reporting repairs and chasing repair requests, liaising with contractors & maintenance teams.
What you'll need to succeed - Previous experience in a similar role/setting, ideally supporting elderly customers with tenancy sustainment & independent living
- Knowledge of welfare benefits and experience of completing assessments & developing support plans
- Experience of managing a caseload, multi-agency working and crisis management
- Knowledge and experience of safeguarding practices and procedures
- Ablity to use range of IT packages/systems proficiently
- Adults Enhanced DBS
What you'll get in return - Weekly pay
- Hourly rates up to £17.50 per hour
- Option to be paid PAYE or Umbrella
