ASB Officer required until end of March 2024
We have an exciting opportunity to recruit an experienced ASB Enforcement Officer in St. Helens on behalf of a well-established housing association until the end of March 2025 and hourly rates up to £23.34 per hour.
Key responsibilities
- Overseeing a caseload of serious and complex anti-social behaviour & other tenancy breach cases including hate crime and domestic abuse, where early interventions have failed, and legal action is to be pursued
- Working in partnership with colleagues in the Neighbourhoods team to protect customers and communities from ASB and nuisance
- Investigating cases, preparing witness statements and other legal documentation for court proceedings, and representing the organisation at hearings if required
- Ensuring witnesses and victims are provided with appropriate support throughout investigations and preparing individuals for attending & presenting evidence at court
- Liaising with and making referrals to external services if appropriate
- Ensuring thorough notes and evidence relating to cases is updated on the housing management system
What you'll need to succeed - Previous experience in an ASB/Enforcement role within housing
- Ability to prepare witness statements and legal documentation in preparation for court proceedings
- Experience of giving evidence in court
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of relevant legal frameworks in relation to housing and ASB
- Ability to work on own initiative and manage a complex caseload
What you'll get in return - Weekly pay
- Hourly rates between £21.22 - £23.34ph and mileage reimbursement
- Option to be paid via PAYE or Umbrella

- Ongoing temporary contract until 31st March 2025
