Job Description
The Senior Sales Trainer (m/f/d) is responsible for developing, delivering, and improving training programs aimed at enhancing the sales skills and performance of the sales team. They design and facilitate training sessions that focus on sales techniques, product knowledge, customer engagement, and communication skills. The Senior Sales Trainer (m/f/d) works closely with sales managers to assess training needs, develop customized training modules, and ensure that the sales team is equipped to meet or exceed sales targets. Additionally, the Senior Sales Trainer (m/f/d) tracks and evaluates the effectiveness of training programs, provides feedback, and continuously updates training content to align with changing market conditions and company goals. This role will partner with sales leaders (m/f/d) and reps in several countries across Europe, with a special focus on Germany to start.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement sales training programs
Conduct workshops, role-plays, and training sessions for sales teams
Collaborate with sales management to identify training needs
Monitor and assess the effectiveness of training through performance metrics
Provide coaching and ongoing support to improve sales techniques
Stay updated on market trends, product updates, and competitive practices
Continuously update training materials and methods
Collaborates with an instructional designer to identify innovative solutions and execution plans for various blended learning programs including, but not limited to live and virtual instructor led training, sales and product certifications, online learning, etc.
Keeps current with emerging trends and best practices in the learning and sales enablement space
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Masters' degree and 3+ years of relevant work experience as a sales trainer (m/f/d) or HR L&D Consultant
Strong coaching and mentoring skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite as well as experience working in a CRM
Full professional proficiency in German and English
Effective written and verbal communication skills, interacting with all levels of employees and management
Self-starter that takes initiative; seeks out and has ability to drive change through persuasion and leadership.
Project manages with a highly collaborative style, deadline sensitive high priority programs and deliverables with a team-focused attitude.
Ability to be agile and adapt to a changing environment
Occasional travel - trainings, sales office visits or team meetings when necessary
