Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of the bookkeeping for Alternative Investment funds, management companies and associated SPVs, processing of journals/transactions in the fund accounting system
- Preparation of all reporting aspects of client deliverables, including the preparation of trial balances, Management accounts, investor reports, statutory financial statements, tax letters and ad hoc investor requests
- Addressing and completing of audit queries
- Prepare periodic bank and other reconciliations
- Managing and controlling the AR/AP function
- Preparation of Payments in the Banking platform
- Preparation of responses for more complex client queries
- Build, maintain and enhance professional Business relationship with clients
Your Profile
- Relevant degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance (Bachelor or Honours degree)
- Between 2-3 years of experience in accounting, preferably for Alternative Funds (Private Equity, Real Estate, Private Debt)
- Strong desire to undertake a professional qualification
- Computer literacy skills are essential
- Other characteristics: accurate, self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team, deadline driven and able to maintain a portfolio of clients
