Store Manager
Our client in the FMCG Industry is currently looking for a Store Admin Manager for one their premium clothing retail stores based in Richards Bay to join their dynamic team.
Main Purpose:
To ensure the highest standards of customer service is delivered and sales turnover targets met through effective people management and enforcement of retail disciplines at store level. The successful individual will be responsible for the store administration and sales functions.
The successful candidate is likely a Store Assistant Manager in a medium store/Store Manager in a small-medium turnover store.
Line Manager: Regional Manager
Number of Direct Reports : All Flexi timers and Permanent Staff within the store
Key Performance Areas:
- Customer Centricity, developing and delivering a service ethic culture in-store
- In-store training and ongoing coaching
- People Leadership and performance management including IPAs, one-on-ones and formal performance reviews
- Delivery of targets in turnover, profitability, visual merchandise & control
- Understand income statement and manage expenses
- Deliver trading density, basket size targets and salary to sale ratios (staff planning)
- HR and IR responsibilities
Minimum Requirements:
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years retail experience
- Minimum of 3 years management experience
Qualifications:
- Complete Matric/Grade 12
- Tertiary Retail Qualification will be to your advantage
Additional Requirements:
- Knowledge of relevant Industrial Relations (IR) Law & initiate enquiries
- Good understanding of the retail environment and brands
- Administration and stock management
- Stock management
- Merchandising and housekeeping

Salary: R15 000 R23 000 p/m with benefits.
