Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise front office staff, ensuring a seamless and welcoming guest experience from check-in to check-out.
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety standards and Labour Legislation, contributing to a safe and efficient workplace.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to staff, including conducting training needs analysis to promote development and professionalism.
- Maintain high-quality guest assistance and service at the reception area during your shift.
- Oversee staff scheduling and ensure the completion of daily administrative tasks in line with established procedures.
- Uphold front office procedures, reporting requirements, and ensure accurate data management on our Front Office System.
- Handle guest folio accounts, payments, rates, and discounts with precision and care.
- Ensure contingency reports are printed and recorded as required.
- Coordinate smooth arrival and departure processes for all reservations, with special attention to any unique guest needs to enhance loyalty and repeat business.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Matric (Grade 12) is essential.
- Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role within a front office team.
- Proven ability to manage and inspire a team, while maintaining high service standards.
