Our client is looking for experienced pipefitters to join their growing team.
This role would be ideal for a candidate with a track record of working in pneumatic and fluid pipe systems in steel and copper and looking to enhance their skill sets and career opportunities.
The role:
- Lay out, fabricator, fit and install pipework and components to form pneumatic, oil and coolant system
- Carry out modifications, maintenance, repair and overhaul activities on the brake, fuel & cooling systems
- Safely, efficiently & accurately operate a variety of hand-held tool and power tools such as pipe benders, threaders
- Assist with fault-finding and pneumatic expertise when required
Skills required:
Strong work ethics, a thorough and pro-active approach to task completion and the ability to work to a high specification are key to be successful in the role. You will also need to demonstrate excellent inter-personal skills and an appetite to learn new skills and progress the company forward. You will bring an in-depth understanding of pneumatic and fluid pipe systems and manual pipe working techniques and see problems as a challenge.
Qualifications required:
- Level 2 or 3 Pipefitting qualification and/or Apprenticeship
- Solid understanding of steel and copper pipe work principles
- Welding qualifications would be a plus
Hours:
(Week one) Monday to Thurs 06:00 to 14:30, Friday 06:00 to 12:00
(Week two) Monday to Thurs 14:00 to 22:30, Friday 11:00 to 17:00
