Our client is seeking a meticulous and experienced Bookkeeper / Financial Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing creditors, preparing management accounts, conducting financial analysis, and reporting directly to the Finance Director.
Key Responsibilities:
Creditors Management: Oversee and manage all aspects of creditors, ensuring timely processing and payment of invoices.
Management Accounts: Prepare accurate and timely management accounts for internal review and decision-making.
Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Reporting: Provide detailed reports to the Finance Director, highlighting key financial metrics and insights.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
Record Keeping: Maintain organized and accurate financial records, including ledgers and journals.
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to support financial planning and budgeting processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field – with Articles
- Proven experience in bookkeeping and financial accounting
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
