Hybrid Project Manager/Business Analyst
6 Month initial contract
2 days/week on site in London
650 - 800/day - Via Umbrella
My client within the investment management industry is looking for an experienced BA/PM with an strong understanding of middle office investment products and processes. The successful candidate will have extensive project management experience and some BA experience. They will also possess in-depth knowledge and experience in derivatives, OTC, collateral, trade capture, performance & attribution.
This is a hands-on role within a lean team that will support the delivery of a large scale middle office outsourcing programme. As such, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting in the development, maintenance and management of project plans and associated artefacts that support delivery of project objectives. They will work closely with business sponsors and SMEs, driving target operating model outcomes and ensuring business needs will be met in the end state model developed with the vendor.
The chosen candidate will be expected to drive process improvement and partner with incumbent and future vendors to ensure smooth transition. They will also ensure all aspects of migration are planned for and delivered. Formulating, organising and monitoring inter-connected projects and coordinating cross project activities will be part of their daily responsibilities.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for developing and controlling deadlines, budgets and activities. They will apply change, risk and resource management to ensure that all projects are delivered within scope, budget and time constraints.
