Position Overview:
ProProcess supplies custom engineered-to-order modular process skids for the sustainable technology, chemical, oil & gas and metals markets. The solutions are tailored to meet the unique needs of clients both locally and internationally. The Project Engineers – Proposal role is to review contract bids to produce innovative cost-competitive bids that meet each client’s unique requirements. The role is expected to create competitive proposals that are accurate in cost, timelines and evaluate contractual risks.
Responsibilities will include:
- Support RevOps team with new concept designs
- Review of client scope, including technical & commercial specification documentation
- Consultations with clients and suppliers to discuss and formulate cost estimates
- Generation of accurate cost registers and proposals to company standards
- Keep estimation database and CRM current
- Save all estimates and related documentation in correct location
- Generate tracking registers
- Ensure proposals conform to price, project lead time and technical accuracy
- Communicate effectively with clients and within the team, both verbally and in writing
- Improve departmental efficiency by implementing measures that increase productivity, reduce costs, time and material wastage
Qualifications & Experience:
- National Diploma / B Tech / B Eng / BSc Eng (Metallurgical, Mechanical and Mechanical) or similar
- 3 years’ experience in interpretation and administration of estimates
- 1 year experience in related field
- 3 years’ experience in Interpretation and understanding of technical specifications (equipment, materials, international standards)
