A Sanitation Worker is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment by collecting, transporting and disposing of waste materials. They also ensure the safe disposal of hazardous waste, and provide cleaning services to public places and private residences.

Sanitation Worker Duties
Collect household waste and bulky items from residential areas
Empty bins in public places and maintain cleanliness
Operate and maintain refuse collection vehicles
Load and unload refuse onto collection vehicles
Assist with street cleaning and litter-picking operations
Carry out minor repairs to collection vehicles
Ensure safe and efficient working practices

Sanitation Worker Requirements
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
Knowledge of basic health and safety regulations
Good communication skills
Ability to work flexible hours
