Pure Legacy (Pty) Ltd, based in Southern Paarl, is in search of a proactive and dynamic Account Manager to join their growing team. The main focus of the role will be on managing existing client relationships, ensuring smooth export operations, & driving sales growth in the EU. Responsibilities will include: Client Relationship Management: Serve as primary point of contact for clients, develop an understanding of client needs, preferences, & business goals to offer tailored solutions, communicate with clients regarding orders, shipments, & product updates Sales & Business Development: Managing existing accounts & identify opportunities to expand the client base within the target markets, driving sales growth through planning, negotiation, & implementation of sales initiatives, collaborating with the sales & marketing teams to develop pricing strategies Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborating with the supply chain, logistics, & operations teams to ensure timely delivery of fruit shipments to clients, managing end-to-end export processes (including documentation, customs clearance, & compliance with international trade regulations) Market & Product Knowledge: Remain updated on market trends, competitor activities, & global demand for specific fruit products, providing insights to clients on market conditions, pricing, & product availability Reporting & Analysis: Preparing sales reports, forecasts, & analysis of key performance metrics, tracking account performance, identifying opportunities for improvement. Minimum requirements: Proven experience in account management, sales, or business development within the fruit export or agricultural industry; Strong understanding of export logistics, customs regulations, & international trade practices; Excellent communication, negotiation, & interpersonal skills; Ability to work under pressure & meet deadlines; Proficiency in CRM software & MS Office Suite; Willingness to travel internationally.
