Scope of responsibilities:
- The Sales Manager (SM) is responsible for the day-to-day management of the sales and sales team in accordance with overall company policy.
- The main focus of the manager’s job function is to improve the commercial performance of sales by increasing its turnover and maximizing profitability.
- Achieving performance objectives will require action in the areas of customer care; regional marketing; sales and administration.
- Other major parts of the job on a day-to-day basis include: managing staff, finding new ways to improve sales and meeting customer service and demands.
- Weekly meetings with the S ales T eam including individual that are minuted and sent weekly to S enior M anagement.
Functions:
- Managing and motivating the sales team to increase sales and ensure efficiency.
- Ensuring each sales person has a target that should be intrinsically linked to the Group overall sales target.
- Analyzing sales figures and forecasting future sales volumes to maximize profits;
- Analyzing and interpreting local and regional trends to facilitate planning;
- Using information technology to record sales figures and for data analysis and forward planning;
- Dealing with sales staffing issues: conducting appraisals and performance reviews; and providing or organizing training & development:
- Ensuring the sales team and all other relevant staff have an on-going training program with current and new products;
- Ensuring standards for quality, customer service, health and safety are met;
- Responding to customer complaints on sales, quality, market trends and comments;
- Organizing special promotions, display and events;
- Arranging staff meetings weekly or as and when required;
- Updating colleagues on business performance, new initiatives and other pertinent issues;
- Touring the sales floor regularly, talking to colleagues and customers, and identifying or resolving urgent issues;
- Maintaining awareness of market trends in the industry, understanding forthcoming customer initiatives, and monitoring what local competitors are doing;
- Any other duties related to your branch from time to time as instructed by the Managing Director or his representative;

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar sales leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of the computer hardware industry and market dynamics.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and drive team performance.
- Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset.
