Financial Analyst required for a leading automotive company based in Kariega
Applications are invited from suitably qualified & experienced employees to fill the above vacancy in Strategic Finance Planning department.
Education & Experience
- B Com Degree (Accounting 3)/ National Diploma in Cost Management Accounting
- Have 3-5 years’ financial experience in a Manufacturing concern (preferably in the Automotive Industry)
- Have at least 3 years’ experience in a Cost Accounting environment
- Have experience in Financial Analysis
Skills, Attributes & Other requirements ESSENTIAL
- Have an understanding of the APDP (Duties and Incentives)
- Have a sound knowledge of detailed Unit Cost Analysis (Vehicles and Components)
- Have a very good understanding of the impact of Exchange rate Fluctuations on our business
- Advanced Computer Literacy (MS Excel and PowerPoint, Think-Cell, Hyperion EssBase)
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a bigger team
- Analytical skills
- Be disciplined and able to perform under pressure
- Excellent communication skills
Job Description and Responsibilities
- Reporting on the Financial Performance of a Business Unit/ Total Company.
- Performing Variance Analysis (Actual vs Budget/ Planning Round/ Forecast/ Prior Actuals).
- Compiling Forecast/ Budget/ Planning Round for a Business Unit/ Total Company.
- Submitting various reports to the Shareholder.
- Ad hoc Reporting and Analysis
