HireResolve has partnered with a leading FMCG company based in KZN, which is looking for a dynamic and business-minded Finance Manager to join their team at the Newcastle location.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years’ hands-on experience in a production environment with an aptitude for systems and automation.
Responsibilities:
Budgeting Bill of materials (BOM), product costing and margin management Oversee procurement of raw materials Manage import of raw materials, forex and customs clearance Stock control (raw materials and finished goods), including returns and credits Waste reporting and analysis (preforms, syrup, raw material usage vs BOM) Logistics and warehousing costs, develop cost to serve model (Transnova) Pallet stock management Salaries and wages (Payspace) Fixed asset management on site Cost control over operational expenses Overall management of the general ledger Analyse and present monthly management accounts Roll-out of fully fledged Syspro ERP on site Roll-out new time and attendance system Capex proposals Short term insurance IT on site Involvement in negotiations with contract packers Ensure strict adherence to policies and procedures (current and developing new)
Requirements:
CA(SA) or CIMA Qualified BCom(Hons) in Accounting of Cost & Management Accounting 3-5 years experience in a FMCG / Production environment SAICA / CIMA Articles CompletedExperience in Budgeting and Forecasting Experience in variance analysis Strong knowledge of ERP Systems and the implementation thereof
