Hire Resolve's client is a well-established company in Cape Town, South Africa, and they are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to join their team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, conducting audits, and analyzing financial data. Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements and reports
- Manage and execute payroll system
- Preparation and submission of the companies’ VAT & EMP201 returns
- Bi-annual EMP501 reconciliation & submission
- BBBEE and EE reporting requirements
- Preparation of management accounts to management
- Preparation of company cash flow and P&L account
- Preparing year end trail balance and provision of all relative information for year-end figures to the external accountants
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in accounting
- SAIPA accreditation
- Relevant experience with Sage payroll
- Computer skills: MS Office, + Financial / ERP packages
- Minimum of 3 – 5 years experience as accountant with the above-mentioned core tasks.
