A group of companies in the steel industry is looking to appoint a Accounts and Office Administrator who is goal driven and self- motivated who resides in or around Strand, The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: Office administration Debtors/Creditors 1. Customer invoices: - Process invoices on a daily basis, for delivery notes to be issued to drivers. - Save and print invoices - Send out invoices to customers. - By the end of each day, send out the sales report. - Send out customer statements at month-end - Follow-up on outstanding customer payments weekly - Be the liaison for any customer account queries. - Assist with new customer accounts open accounts on Pastel, send out letters etc when required 2. Suppliers - Scan material certs/request from supplier - Match Suppliers signed delivery note to Supplier invoices - Match supplier invoice to Purchase order on system - Reconcile supplier accounts at month end with statements and draw up payment list - Sort out any queries 3 . Production/logistics Administration - Assist with printing of job cards Assist with delivery arrangments Assist with paperwork for customer collection 4. Other - Assist with walk-in customers/deliveries - Consumables a) Check stock levels of office consumables and order when needed, b) Place orders for consumables for all workshop machinery and related items Reside in or around the Helderberg area. National Senior Certificate or equivalent (grade 12/matric) - Fluent in English and Afrikaans - Experience in Microsoft packages is essential - Experience in Sage Pastel will be preferred - Strong in admin skills - Attention to detail - Previous work in a steel industry will be beneficial Send CV with cover letter to recruitmentsppsa.co.za
