Interim Economic Development Manager (Outside IR35) - 500 per day - Merseyside - Council - Hybrid Working - 12 Months
The Role:
- The role is based in the Strategic, Stalled and Small Sites team in the City Development Directorate
- This exciting new role will focus on identifying and bringing forward challenging sites both in the private and public sector for development
- You will help to facilitate the delivery of a wide variety of urban regeneration projects, working closely with various stakeholders to drive forward schemes that will have a significant impact on the social, economic and environmental well-being of our communities
- As part of the team you will help develop a future pipeline of opportunities, unlocking stalled sites and supporting the implementation of a programme to deliver residential, mixed use and public realm schemes, together with creating opportunities to bring forward new regeneration opportunities
- We are looking for a collaborative, inspirational property professional with a broad range of experience in urban regeneration and development projects, including the identification, development and delivery of place making projects
- The ideal candidate will be a strong team player, with excellent relationship management skills, and a clear track record of managing complex and challenging projects and programmes with multiple or diverse stakeholders
- You will have the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, to plan, manage and secure the effective implementation of regeneration projects
