Our client, a prominent company in the Textile and Apparel Manufacturing industry, is looking for a talented and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join their dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
- Achieve all budgeted targets.
- Manage expenses as per agreed budgets.
- Handle banking and reconciliation.
- Manage end-of-day procedures and banking.
- Oversee store administration tasks.
- Maintain accurate stock recons and manage stock control effectively.
- Ensure staffing levels and criteria are maintained.
- Promote the company name through sales, quality assistance, and customer service.
- Assist on the store floor as needed.
- Operate tills and assist with transactions when required.
Requirements:
- Matric certificate.
- Experience in the textiles or clothing industry.
- Experience in retail management.
- Knowledge of household textiles.
- Strong organizational, planning, and motivational skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Honest, trustworthy, and reliable.
- Ability to manage, delegate responsibility, and show assertiveness and leadership abilities.
